ACE Topics / ACE Portal / "Inadmissible Satus" and system delays |

Hello,
Recently my company has been seeing hundreds of shipments remain in the "inadmissible status" for many hours during the day, but seems to drop in the overnight hours.
When I check with our IT people they say nothing on their end is showing a slow down, and when I contact the ACE help desk they also say nothing is wrong.
At this point it is a "he said, she said" ordeal so I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced a similar situation, and if anything was done to resolve it? |

ACE Topics / ACE Portal / Re:ACE and QP Linking |

Linking a QP in-bond shipment is possible using the ACE Secure Data Portal and ANSI X12. It is currently not possible to link the QP in-bond shipment to an e-Manifest if you are using UN/EDIFACT. Since there are complexities and impossibilities involved in this procedure Customs and Border Protection has issued notice to all land border ports that informs officers not to penalize carriers that have not linked QP shipments to their e-Manifests. Currently if the QP shipment has not been linked to the e-Manifest the officer should look up the QP in-bond in the ACS system and process the truck. This may take place in a secondary. An e-Manifest should still be filed either as an empty trip or with other non-QP shipments. Copies of the Customs Form 7512 should be available if the in-bond request has been made via the QP transmission.
As a reminder in-bond requests must be electronically requested either directly from the e-Manifest declaration or via the ACS process known as QP (electronic in-bond).

Good Morning All,
Jennifer Fox from OTA here. I am trying to escalate the issue of ACE Emanifest and QP Bonds not linking properly. With Phase 3 looming, it is a concern for our members. What is the status of the fix?
Thanks for feedback, input, suggestions.

ACE Topics / ACE Portal / Sharing Customized Reports with other ACE Users |

Several ACE users have asked, "If a proxy user configures a report in the new reporting tool (change some columns, add some fields, that sort of thing), can it be saved so that other users of the same company's account run the report as he/she customized it as needed?"
The answer is, No. There is no way on the portal for one user to customize a report and then share that customized report with other users. Everyone will need to do the customization themselves in their own account. However, the proxy can export the report into an EXCEL format so that it can be shared with others. That way the user will know what data fields to include in the report.
