I moved here 11 years ago after living in Durham City for 15 years and to be honest there was more anti social behaviour in Durham City from the University students than there is here, the students couldnt care less who they upset. Everyone here seems friendly and will always say hello when you pass in the street, whether you know them or not. It really isn't as bad as what people make it out to be.

We've just  moved back to Bowburn after been out of the village for 20 years and i still say that Bowburn is quite a decent place to live compared to other villages in the locality. Every village have their idiots, it just seems some villages have more than others....
