The robotic humanoid REEM A is now capable of playing chess via the Hydra chess engine.
This obviously means that we might see REEM A in action next time Hydra plays a match?
Also, more good news for chess enthusiasts is that the same company is working on a commercially available robotic arm that will interface with your PC.
