That makes 3 CC1's sold on eBay in May 2007!

$350
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180124040335

$536
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180118874902

$1600
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300114430603

Looking at the countries where the computers could be shipped to and the prices at which they have been sold, one is inclined to conclude that selling computers only to the United States tends to result in lower prices than shipping them worldwide.

I gotta hand it to you Russ!
I honestly didn't think you wold sell it. Especially when there was another CC1 listed around the same time frame. Does anyone know how much that one sold for?

That's why I'll never make money selling anything I'm not a business guy at all!
I think you've set some kind of record here

I can also see the buyer's side. It doesn't matter what you're collecting. If you really want something, have the money, and the item is available, you will buy it! Numbers and Dollars aside, I think it's that simple!

Well it's official... Another CC1 sold.  I got Full Price by the way (Hooray for me).  Any way for those who track such things it went to Canada.  I will encourage the buyer to join in the Forum here so the location and Serial may be public.  By the way in answer to anothers comment;  I am not an Ebay service.  I search out all of my items myself and sell them.  I have had a keen eye on chess computers for a couple of years since finding my first CC1 at a thrift store for $1 and selling it for $1300!
Many thanks to Ismenio for the info on his website that helped me identify what i had!  Who knows, maybe someday i'll find another!

hello

I find it rather incredible that a chess computer which allows illegal moves  , has only one level , always play black , has no library and problems to castle , could be sold at 319 $ !

319 $ would be the cheapest price for a CC1, that i have ever seen.

500 - 600 $ are quite normal...

A collector once wrote on his website: "A chess computer collection is never complete without a CC1!"

Ok, i find this a little exaggerated; i tend to agree to you, that these prices are far too high for such a computer!

I don't own a CC1 and don't intend to pay that much for one at the moment.

But you never know...

However I recognize that what makes it so precious is that it's the first chess computer of all times !

Yes, it does look legit. They seem to be one of those places that sell stuff for people who don't want to go through the hassle of selling it themselves.

Looks like we have yet another serial number to track down

Thanks for posting the link sderkye2002! As I haven't been checking eBay lately so I don't know what's going on there, which is a good thing, if you know what I mean

Best regards,

Just put up, looks legit from what I can tell reading the posting.

I am only telling you guys cause I am sure it will go for way more than I would be willing to pay.
