Hi,

I don't have these programs but :
1) some programs access privileged regions of your computer. While Vista virtualizes some, it is still possible that some access fail, so may be you should try to elevate the privilege level of CT-ART 3.0 : Right-click on the short cut, "compatibility" tab and check "Execute this program as an administrator"

2) there are two possibilities here :
a) Chesssmaster writes the result of its check somewhere and this writing fails and therefore it is unable to read this information on following runs => you can try the same workaround
b) Or chessmaster checks the version of the OS and changes its behavior depending on that. So you can also try to set the compatibility mode for CM in the same place by choosing "Windows XP (service pack 2)" as the execution mode.

Hope this helps,
Best regards,
Alain

I am having difficulty loading CT-ART 3.0 on my laptop which has Vista as its operating system.  It's fine on the XP computer.  Can anyone help?

Also, with the Chessmaster 10 patch, on my XP computer it is no longer necessary to have the CD to play, but when I load the same patch on the Vista computer it still requires the CD  in order to play. Help!  Thanks.
