Very cool!

I am myself a Palm guy for several reasons and I'd hate to carry one more unit with me but recently I've been thinking about getting a Windows-based PDA. Your post makes it more tempting.

I imagine that it is emulating a Palm right? So I think the ELO would be affected but since I'm not a strong player I'd be fine with that.

Thanks for the post and welcome to the board.

Yes you can play Palm chess programs on the Pocket PC and on my web site I've
put a couple of screenshots of ChessTiger Palm running on my Acer Pocket PC.
The piece sets are new and are not available commercially.
Also on my site are screenshots of other new 'Challenger' piece sets that I've
recently designed, which are also not available commercially.
These include a new 3D set for Pocket Fitz.
A new 'Classic' set for Hiarcs Palm.
Plus additional screenshot of the ChessTiger Palm 'Challenger Classic &
Staunton' piece sets.
Enjoy !!
