I have one Tablet PC running Windows 98 that connects to the Citrine ok and I have Windows XP Tablet PC that can't connect.
I don't know but surely the Arena people haven't just supplied a Windows 98 driver have they?
Maybe our PC guru Alain Zanchetta might know?

sorry, I have no idea : I don't use Arena and only use my Citrine as a dedicated machine.
Writing to and reading from a serial port is easy under XP, but I don't know if Arena has a special architecture or not.
May be you should try to launch hyperterminal on the PC, open the serial port (57600 bauds), activate the interface on the Citrine and then play on its board : the moves should appear on the PC. If they do, then it is an arena bug.

Best regards,
Alain

I am trying to use my Citrene with the new Arena(beta4) driver.  I followed all the instructions, but my computer(XP) does not recognize that the Citrene is connected to it.  Can any one help?  If I get a serial to usb converter could that possibly help?

Thank you.
