I'm new here, and my great friend the fidelitly voice sensory chess game i've had since 1980 just stopped, no juice seems to be getting to it, but the transformer seems ok.  Can these be repaired ?  Thanks, upset dennis

Yes, these chess computers can be repaired.  Some are pretty easy to fix (once you get inside them) others are much harder.  Yours doesn't sound like it has to be something difficult, probably just a bad connection in the power circuitry, but then one never knows for sure until you look into it.

I even had one of mine repaired by the local computer fix it shop.

Good luck.
