The Wiki site on line...

http://www.schach-computer.info/wiki/index.php/Wiki-Elo-Liste

...says the Virtuoso has a 10 MHz processor (and lists only the 10 MHz speed).  I have both the Virtuoso and the GK 2000 (which is listed as basically the same computer in a different case) and they play the same as far as I can tell.  So I think this is the standard version.  Therefore I am unsure where the French site got it's info - maybe there is indeed a mistake in the manual they relied on.  But it is also possible there were other speed versions released after the standard version.

the 20 MHz of these early H8 computers are a little exaggeration: they use a 20 resp. 16 MHz quartz, but the speed is divided by 2, so that gives 10 resp. 8 MHz real CPU speed.

same can be found e. g. at Mephisto's MM VI:

best regards,
Robert

sderyke2002 thanks for your reply. In a  collector`s site from France he says that it has a Virtuoso with a 16 MHZ, but the manual that I have says that it has a 20 MHZ processor . Is it posible that Saitek had launched to the market enchanced versions or maybe tehre is a mistake in the manual?

The standard Virtuoso is 1988 and a doubling of clock speed is generally worth about 50 points.  So maybe around 2040.  I have never seen it on a list though.
