I have repaired a few where the edges tend to lift or bubble. Use a hair dryer to warm the surface and gently lift it up and hold it up with a small wooden dowel or anything else you may have. I then apply a thin ribbon of superglue gel, remove the dowel and roll it flat with a small wallpaper seam roller. another way is to press it flat with a thin pice of wood cut to fit and place just enough weight on it to hold it flat and let it sit for awhile. works for me good luck.    Tony

General CC Repair Question

I have a general repair question which could apply to many pieces of CC hardware.  I have a Turbostar 432, which has a bubble ridge along the first row (A1-H1).  Is it possible to remove the casing, and smooth this bubble ridge down in some way?

If anyone has attempted this in the past, or knows of a way to do this without any risk of permanent board damage, then I would appreciate hearing from you!

If you would like to see a picture, I will take one and post it here so you can see the problem.

It doesn't stop me from playing, but it is high enough to look awkward and also to put the pieces on an angle when placed on the board.

I look forward to any helpful suggestions from you all!

Many thanks
