Hi Marko,

Thank you for your reply. Assuming I'm allowed to, I will post a link when I auction the 2250XL, in case anyone is interested.

Best Regards,

Phil

Hello Phil,

Sorry for your loss. The 2250XL was Radio Shacks best (highest rated) computer chess game. eBay prices are varied, I have seen everything from $36 to $125 during the past year or so. With Christmas around the corner and your set in mint condition, expect to get $75 to $125.

Best regards,
Marko

Hello All,

I hope you can help me out. Some years ago my Mom purchased a 2250XL from Radio Shack for my Dad after he retired as he enjoyed a game of chess. He played 2 games on it, and decided that he preferred to play against a real person, and did not like computer chess. So... the batteries were taken out of the 2250XL and it was put back in the box with the manual and placed on the shelf in the closet.

To make a long story short...., my Dad passed away recently, and my Mom has started to part with some things she does not use. The mint 2250XL, that had been used twice, and sat on the closet shelf for years,  is one of those things. I was thinking of taking some pics and putting it up on eBay for my Mom, but thought I would ask you guys first, what you thought it was worth/how much it should be listed for? I have done a little research on the internet myself regarding the 2250XL, but any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
