I don't know what the driver for Arena does exactly, but I think that it is more complicated to get integrated into Fritz

Just yesterday i found an old email from paolo violini where he says that he was trying to do something for renaissance and fritz.
Hope he did.

Hello,

All you need to know to build a cable is here :

http://www.schach-computer.info/wiki/index.php/OSA_Link_Cable

Hi to everybody!

i bought two weeks ago the above cable from an electronic italian shop on ebay (i asked him to see the link and he made it for me! for 31,00 euro) for my renaissance and it works fine with arena.
A questione for Alain: do you know how to program the eprom for the maestro d module?
Is there a way to make it work even with Fritz?
Thank you.

I have the cable.  It's not for sale but maybe I can share information with you or we can try to reproduce it.

How would one go about connecting a Leonardo board to a PC. I have free USB, 1394, express card, RJ-11 & RJ-45 ports and hyperterminal program. Do I need the special OSA link cable from SciSys or can I buy any cable that fits in both ends and away I go ?
