My grandmaster is no longer functioning propertly. While in regular mode, playing against the gm, I make the opening move and no response from the ghost. I can hear something trying to work but no movement is made. I carefully picked the unit up and turned it a bit and could hear something moving inside. Evidently something broke. Is this something that can be fixed if one is not an ET? I am in Las Vegas, is there someone out there that can assist?

Alternately, it should be easy enough to take the back off and
look at it. Since what is happening is mechanical, it might be
obvious to see. Just a rubber/plastic/nylon connector broke
loose, perhaps. Worth a try and will cost  you nothing.
hope things work out...

look for a good computershop in las vegas. telephone them. the machine is mainly a plotter with magnets instead of pencils.

i guess something is mechanical broken.
they can maybe open it carefully and repair it.

a computershop should have the knowledge and equipment to help you.
