hi Michael, yes all the elctronics were mounted to the routed out board. switch alignment was the hardest part. I then constructed the 1" walnut base and mounted it to the bottom. the base can be removed if I ever need to get at anything.

Hey Tony,

a sheep in wolf's clothing! Looks very nice!

Did you mount the original PCB under the chessboard?

thankyou Tom, by conversion I just meant that I was converting from the cheap plastic to a nice walnut housing. I started with a non-working GM, replaced some reed sws. and diodes and went from there. no change in program, that's beyond me. whole project took about 4 days. being retired gives me a lot of free time to tinker with my collection.

Looks beautiful! Tony, what does the conversion mean? Did you not only change the look but also the playing-strength? I can't imagine the latter, though.

I wished my Atlanta looked like this. Really nice. American luxury.

Tony
Here's a free web site that I use that you can upload your photos to and maybe add some text to the photos.

bryan, snapfish does that to make everyone that wants to look at your pics. register. even though its free, I don,t think its right to collect all that info from members that want to see the pics. I have cancelled snapfish!!!! does anyone know of a free site that other members use without the hassle? regards, Tony

ok, how in hell do you add pics.    tony

as in many forums, you cannot upload them here but can only add a link to an already existing picture on the web ; you have therefore to upload the pictures elsewhere before posting them here.

best regards,
Alain
