I compared the Scisys Concord II manual with my 1650 Fast Response manual.  Same thing.

Good to know for sure. Thanks for checking KingAlbert!

I compared the Scisys Concord II manual with my 1650 Fast Response manual.  I can confirm Marko's belief that they are one and the same.  Exactly the same text is used for virtually every function, with only the computer model names being different.  Some of the paragraphs have been re-arranged, so that item "8. Computer Moves" in the 1650 manual is item "3. Computer Moves" in the Concord.  Same thing.

If you can read foreign languages:

http://electronicchess.free.fr/doc/tandy1650frp.pdf
This is the European manual (French, Dutch, German)

I believe that the Tandy 1650 Fast Response is the same as the SciSys Concord II. You can download a manual from:

Hi judymother,

The unlit level (Level 0) is the easiest level.  My manual for this list the levels as follows:

Level - Average response time per move
0 - 1 second
1 - 3 seconds
2 - 8 seconds
3 - 30 seconds
4 - 1 minute
5 - 1.5 minutes
6 - 4 minutes
7 - 1 hour
8 - Problem Mode

Enjoy,
Albert
