...  Did you get the Novag printer power supply with the printer?  And also the wide ribbon wire connector that goes between the printer and computer?

They came as part of this great gift!
I have the printer + power supply + 1 roll of paper.
I guess I'll have to replace the Eyeball on my wanted list with something...

I can't help you guys here since I do have a printer (thanks to Mike) but t it's lonely, waiting for a Novag with the interface to be hooked up to.  I don't have a manual for the printer and I image that you don't have a section on your manual dealing with the printer right?

The manual for the Super Expert C, and also the one I have for my Super Forte B, show the printer and discuss how to connect it to the computers.  The computer manuals also show how to load paper into the printer.  But there is no mention of needing a separate power supply and that both of them plug into the computer.  Did you get the Novag printer power supply with the printer?  And also the wide ribbon wire connector that goes between the printer and computer?

I promise that I will send you a printout of my first win over the Super Expert C.

This little printer really does work well, and the printing is very clear.  I am amazed at how much information can be printed off.  It can bet set up to print off each pair of moves, as they occur.  You can also print off the board position at any time, and it is a nice looking graphic depiction of the position.  The computer sends the total times of both White and Black to the printer, periodically.  You can print out the entire game, after the fact.  You can also print out an evaluation of the moves and position after each pair of moves.

Simply amazing!!

Ismenio, you really do need to get a Novag computer that has the printer option - it is a blast.  Just what you need, another item to add to your want list.

Regarding the paper, I'd try Staples Dick. They may have something that could work.

What a nice computer.  Combines the features of my Super Forte B (with a few more) in a beautiful wooden board.

It came with a Novag chess printer, but no paper and no separate instructions.  The Expert C manual mentions that it needs thermal paper, but no mention of size.

Any of you with a working Novag printer, or the printer manual, able to help me on this?  The width looks like about 2 1/4 inches.  Is there any limit to how long (or thick) the roll can be?

I want to start printing out my losses as soon as possible.
