Ismenio,

yes they have got serial numbers...the are numbered form 1 to 12. Number one will be the set of Mr Blincoe?, since this guy was the first to decide to support Ruud.
I have got number 12, so I haven been the last to take the decision...Mike and Alain will be somwhere between...

Concerning "what not to do"....
There are some things: You can switch the power supply between 12,9,5 and 3V. If you use the external circuit of the board, you use 9. If you go directly on the power supply module, you may use only 5V. Higher voltage will cause serious damage.
For the moment there is only one program available...but you could switch between Resurrection 1 .0 and 2.0...but never switch off the device of when you are changing the programs (boot lasts some 20 seconds)...if you interrupt the process of loading there will be a corrupted program in the eprom, and you have to send the modules to Ruud.

Well these are the two worst things one can do.

Now: family!

Thanks for this preview Christian! Very interesting. Did you try the two programs?
When you said, "what not to do", what do you mean by that? What care should one take when using the module.
I'll also be very busy for the rest of the day but as soon as I get your pictures I'll post them here and update the site with them!
Quick question, do they have a serial number?

Take your time and enjoy your weekend. Just post whenever you have a chance. Looks like you and Alain have some new toys to play with for a while

Herzliche Gre and a good weekend,

So, now there is time to tell you more:

Ruud and I and another buyer which I did  not know before did meet yesterday evening in a Munich in Hotel.
Ruud "delivered" the modules personally, this was great because there was time to explain us what to do, and, even more important, what not to do!
These sets are really still in the developpement phase, and probably will be for a long time...
So these first 12 buyers (yes, for the instant there are only 12 to take the risks) are some kind of testers for the system also. Since the software is easily updated via PC serial connection, we can all make proposals and Ruud will try to bld them in or program our "wishes".

I think the next weeks will be full of experimentations and test games, so that all of "us" can give a detaild summary.

Photos: I do still not know how to put them here (maybe the problem can be found between my ears ), so I will send an email to Ismenio with some irst pictures attached.

After an hour or so we all departed happily (the other guy somewhat more happy than be, because the Resurrection does not function in my IMPOS board ).
This is a small flaw for me, I also banished the Genius module in an exclusive to give way for something better...
But I am confident this can be solved in future.

Anyway, I am really impressed by Ruuds work, by his personality and his enthusiasm. And I am glad that I can now participate in this project.

Hi All,

I am also a happy owner of Ruuds creation
It works fine, but one thing I am really missing:
You cannot turn the internal board

More information + Photos will follow,

But today I have got family business!

Hooray! Congratulations Martin! That's the kind of spam I love to get! And thanks for the pictures! Can I use them? I can add them to others. Also, let me know if you'd like to make any comments that I can put on the page dedicated to the Resurrection on the site. I can see that it is getting more hits than usual in the last couple of days.

How about a quick review? What features you like, etc?

As some may already have read it somewhere else (I'm spamming all schachcomputer related forums these days with it ), I'm a happy owner of the Resurrection:

Just playing some quick games against it, a little bit more testing will perhaps start tomorrow.

Strongest Schachcomputer Regards,
Martin
