I also detest this region thing. This why I have an old DVD player (one of the first) which plays them all....several weeks after I bought it this regional coding nonsens had been introduced....

For anyone who can get British TV the film documentary of Kasparov's loss to Deep Blue is on BBC2 tonight, Sunday, at 22.30 GMT.
