Hello Mike,

Quote:

Many thanks for that link.

Can you tell me what are the sources for the results?

That is, what is included and what is excluded, and how can you contribute?

Everybody is invited to contribute games to improve the list! Most of the games are from members of the schachcomputer.info-community.

Time control as I mentioned: 30min/game or 30sec/move (of course identical for both opponents!)

Best would be if the opponents are already on the list, so the ratings will become more exact.

If you want to have a new computer added to the list, there are some conditions: it must have played at least 15 games against 2 other computers to get a "P"- (preliminary) rating; >50 and 3 opp. then it gets the "F"- (full) rating; >150 and 30% of all listed computers means it gets the "R"- (reference) title and >300 against 60% = "M" (master)

This can be found down on the list-page too...

Double games amongst same opponents will be eliminated.

If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask!

No doubt there will be more interest in the top end of the Elo list but I would like to see more of the Oldies included and I am in a position to help.

You're welcome!!!

And of course we are always seeking games for our tournament-list too!

The more the better!

thank you,
Robert

Hello to all,

at http://www.schachcomputer.info/html/aktivschach_elo_liste.html you can now find the "Aktivschachliste" by Michael Voelschow and Stefan Ottow!

It was created with games at 30min/game or 30sec/move (as especially older computers don't have a 30min/game-level and we didn't want to exclude i.e. the famous "Superconny"! )

enjoy!
