Bob....How did the test results compare?{Big difference?} Is it a good buy? I have the TC2100 unfort-
unately not working.

The TC2100 scored 1966 (not tested by me, so I can't guarantee that it's 100% correct!)  and the Miami 1876.

There is a difference in playing strength, but the Advanced Travel Chess is definitely a good buy (regarding the price-difference to the Cosmos/TC2100)

Maybe you can get one of his predecessors Miami or Bravo for even less than 40 $! Here in Germany the Miami costs about 30% less than the ATC.

best regards,
Robert

I believe Cougar and Advanced Travel CC have the same
program[maybe speeds are different].

Not quite; their programs are very similar, but the results of the BT2450 test-suite are very different (even when you bear in mind the speed-difference!).

I did the test with a Miami, which should be identical to the Advanced Travel CC and compared it with the results of the TC2100.

The TC2100 (Expert Travel Chess) and the Cougar have the same results (of course, the speeds are diffent!)

you can try /7r/3P4/8/k7/7B/8/4K3/8/ b to move..
Theres a mistake because Cougar takes the bishop..does adv. travel do the same? Regardless I am still going to get it...$40.00 makes it in my price range...
