A friend of mine gave me this morning a Sargon 2.5 ARB to test, he does not have the power supply.
Neither his French manual nor the German version downloaded from alte-schachcomputer.de indicate the voltage and connector's polarity : does anybody have this information ?

Best is 9V AC, but you could also try 9V DC. This should not destroy anything (Arno Kreuzberg told me so; topic was also a Sargon ARB)

hope, this helps,
Robert

Hello Alain

The one original ARB power supply I have, a German one from Sandy Electronics,  says this :-

Input 220V, 50 Hz
Output 9V, 1200 mA

It does not indicate tip polarity and the wiring gives no clue. If you do not know I think the best thing is to try and if the machine does not work quickly switch off and try the other polarity.

All the best
Mike
