Anybody will know tell me, how play better the Novag Star Diamond, with the options Extenssions in On or with the option Extenssions Off?
Is it very relevant for the ELO of te Computer?

Jose Enrique,

it depends on what you want. If you switch the extensions off, this will apparently cut the selective search depth (I do not know to what extend)...
This could lead to a loss of playing strength ...
I switched it once off on my Star, but in rapid chess I could not see a difference...maybe there will be one in longer matches.
If you really want to find out more about the effects of this option switched on or off, you could try the BT test positions (download at www.schachcomputer.info) in both variations...measure the time of the problem solution...but it would take you some time.

Maybe this has already been done Chessguru?
