I only knew about it because the seller contacted me (yes, I'm still too busy even to browse eBay these days  ) and I thought I should share it with you since I got his OK. He didn't know what he hand on his hands until he found our site and the information there, so he sent me a "thanks" note for that.

Crikey, I think you deserve a share of the spoils!    - I too contacted the seller after the original auction was pulled to see if it been closed due to an early offer. Whilst I might be game for a fiddle with the internals of a Boris, the same is not true of a CC1 and IMHO the selling price (even if it worked) was incredible!    - I guess value is in the eye of the beholder.

Best wishes

Hello,

i pursuit also this process complete. I bid still to the computer - and suddenly the Seller offtake his offer. I was always in contact with the seller. Exactly he didin´t know what he sold!  Than he was informed and sold it with all accurate information and better fotos for a "buy-it-know" - offer. I wonder about the 360° Rotation?! Now i know - he found the Information on your site!

But I do not think that the buyer of the CC1 really buy 1299 US $. I asked a few days ago the seller about the high price? He answered me this :
Code:
The price listed is a starting point. I simply want to give it a little time to let everyone find the listing and then we'll negotiate a valid selling price. The listing allows for members to tender a 'best offer' which i am able to respond to. Keep watching that auction over the next month or so to see when i adjust the price.
Thanks,
Russ...

You guys sure have seen this CC1:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8746796035

I only knew about it because the seller contacted me (yes, I'm still too busy even to browse eBay these days ) and I thought I should share it with you since I got his OK. It was indeed sold for US $1,299.99! I think that was a record for a CC1! Has anyone seen one sold for more than that?
And we still have the record low by Dick Schneiders: $14.xx!!
This one went to Europe.
