If you are in the U.S. then most 8.5 or 9V Fidelity power supplies with a jack plug will be perfectly OK. I have just tried my American Voice Excellence with a 9V DC 350 mA Fidelity supply that came with a Gambit, and it worked fine. Also a British Universal DC adaptor set on 9V with a positive tip worked. With a negative tip nothing happens.

Don't try switching polarity with just any chess computer though.

I have a Excellence Model EP12, Manufacturer: Fidelity International.  I need to run it on AC power, so I need a power supply, but my manual does not give the power supply specifications.  Does any one know what the specs are for the power supply?  Thanks For The Help.

I always run my Excellence with a HGN5001; so 8-9V, positive tip and >200 mAh should be ok...
