Now that is cool! Funny this stuff seems cooler to me now than it did back in the 70s in jr high school, when I actually got to play with these computers. I wish I kept a copy of one of my first programs on paper tape - although it would have to be low acid paper tape to last this long.

PDP-8 and chess

PDP-8 is one of the very early computer systems that became popular at its time. I've never seen or worked on one but I've heard about it and was curious about this system and chess of course.

So I found this site where you can actually "play" with a PDP-8 and it does have a chess program!
