I think we all know positions that separate the stronger computers from the weaker ones. For instance, in a certain position, the weaker computer will opt for capturing a piece whereas the stronger one "sees" what will happen in the long run and will choose a different (but decisive) continuation.

But usually these positions are binary: it's EITHER - OR: some computers choose the inferior continuation whereas others will opt for superior play.

But I wonder if there are positions in which the computer can choose more than one continuation, for instance like this:

continuaton A: usually chosen by computers with ELO 11000-1400
continuaton B: usually chosen by computers with ELO 1300-1600
continuaton C: usually chosen by computers with ELO 1500-1800
continuaton D: usually chosen by computers with ELO 1700 and higher

Could anybody give an example of such a "non-binary" position?
