Hi Mike/Gerhard,

I think I have the manual for the Eyeball in jpeg format. I'll have to do some searching. I probably even forgot to send it to Alain. I usually send him any manual I scan, that way I know I'll be able to get the PDF later

Best regards,

Ismenio

PS: I saw you reply on the wooden computers with batteries (Saitek Leonardo, Galileo and Renaissance). Thank you! I didn't know those models also ran on batteries. That goes to show that I learn something every day   (and I don't really know much!    )

Sorry to hear about the Eyeball problem, but I am sure Arno will solve it for you.

I have a Phantom which does nothing but show a light next to black on the panel. I looked at it again yesterday. Virtually took it completely to bits but made no progress. I keep wondering whether Arno could fix it as it is in nearly new condition to look at.

If you send me an email or PM (Personal message) with your address I will send you a photocopy of the Eyeball manual.

All the best
Mike

Mike,

thanks for asking - no I have not found a manual for the eyeball yet. I would be greatly indebited if someone can supply me with one.

To my dismay the eyeball, which I got in a recent ebay auction from Miami has an electronic problem. After performing perfectly for about 5-7 moves it starts flashing some Leds and quits. This behaviour leeds me to think of a thermical problem. Arno Kreuzberg will look after it next week and I hope it can be repaired.

Best wishes, Gerhard

At least they wouldn't melt on a hot day.

Have you managed to get an Eyeball manual yet?

All the best

In the movie Our Man in Havana, produced in 1960, Alec Guinness played with a put together set of miniature liquor bottles.

I would prefer these...

I know, I know... it's not a chess computer. But you'll have to admit, not even the Mephisto Bavaria tastes this good

I wonder about the ELO rating!
