Hello Ismenio,

nice, to have you back!

You have to be online to watch it but Google has had the option to download it (including in iPod video format!) for a while now. I take it that you don't see that option?
Here's what it looks like:

yes, i had tried it, but it only downloaded the setup for the Google video player. As i understand it, i first had to install the player, then it would download the video!

I already watched it online, so there is no need to download it...

But thank you for your help!!

Hello,

i just found out, that this video is finally viewable for users in Germany! (Ismenio, maybe you remember, it was not viewable for me and Bernhard)

But now it is!

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1583888480148765375&q=chess

It seems, that you must be online to view it (could not download it) Is this correct or is there a way to download?

Robert

Hi Robert,

You have to be online to watch it but Google has had the option to download it (including in iPod video format!) for a while now. I take it that you don't see that option?
Here's what it looks like:

I still don't understand this "region" thing with Google and other sites where they block some features in other countries

Anyway, before that option, I remember seeing someone who was able to save the videos. You can find it on Google itself. If not, let me know and I can try to see if I still have it somewhere.

Best regards,

Ismenio

Give that left hand a chance to heal and add to your collection.

Talking of giveaways as the only one to venture a suggestion I think you have won a book. Well at least you could have come up with a picture. Something like this?

All the best
Mike

ROFL!!!!!!

I choose the book of Tim Harding. I have always been good at competitions where I was the only one to participate

Do you think that a competition to chose a logo (avatar) for Steffen would be popular? I have a couple of books I could offer as a prize for the best suggestion.

There is 'The New Chess Computer Book' by Tim Harding
or
'The Chess Computer Handbook' by David Levy.

The best books on chess computers this tiny island could manage.

Ebay Rules OK

Your warrior monk is just perfect but I am still a little wary of him. He has already impaled the palm of his hand.

Hey the warrior lady is back. Someone else had this logo until they joined a monastery. You have to post more if you have this logo.

Dirty Dozen regards
Mike

I like pictures of those barely clothed fantasy-ladies...

Thanks for the information on the video. It is very long but well worth watching.
