Primo,

Sadly, it is well recorded in history, since medieval times, that husbands have suffered a lot in order to keep collecting their chess computers

Indeed.. it's not cheap, but it's new and unused according to the seller

AND you will get the dustcover for free if bid >800 EUR - what the seller DON'T say is that you probably will use it as a shield against your wifes non-understanding attitude!

It is a good job I haven't got room for any more Phantoms.

The most I saw for one before was 500-550 Euros, but this eBay one was the perfect specimen. But all this for a Fidelity clone?

Wow! EUR 1.121,00 (1 417.84  US$) And it was sold! When I first glanced at it quickly I thought that was the asking price but then I noticed that the auction had ended, for that price!!!

That must be some kind of record!

I almost feel like selling one of mine now

I have always wondered how high the prices will get to as time goes by and they become harder to find. I haven’t followed eBay for a while not but would love to know some statistics about how many have appeared throughout the years.
