I'l see what I can do. But presently, I don't have a scanner or camera. Normally in the next few weeks I'm going to buy a digital camera. Maybe if  the quality of that is good enough to make a good digital copy of the manual, I will send you one.

greetings Kim

Hello guys, thanks for the help but I've stumbled on the manual after I was classifying my banknotes.    Who would have thougt that!!

Now I will never loose it again!! (Maybe misplace it a little bit.)

greetings
Kim

If you could scan it, I wouldn't mind receiving a copy, so I will not only have one myself, but also in case others contact me for a manual.

Thanks in advance,

tom

Tom seems to have this device in his collection. Just contact him:

The Executive is one of the chess computers whose operation is so 'intuitive' that many people seem bound to lose their manuals - which goes to explain that I got my Executive at eBay without a manual.

If Kim still hasn't found the manual, I could copy the manual for the Chess Shadow, which is Executive's successor.

Chess Shadow

Best regards,

tom

Hello, my name is Kim and come from Belgium.

+/- 8 years ago I bought the Kasparov Executive to play some chess at home. I must say I never passed the beginner level.  But now after some years of not playing, I picked it back up but unfortunately have lost its manual.

Could somebody here help me on this forum (I have already send an e-mail to Saitek a few days ago but they haven't answered back yet.)

Because I'm just at the beginner level and from Belgium, I just can't figure out the abbreviations that are used on the tiny LCD screen on this computer. So I don't know how to really set the options for specific gamestyles and such.

Thanks in advance for any helpfull reply.

greetings
Kim
