I'll be at the Livi game on Tuesday nite but I'll be in the Livi end with my mate but I'll be supporting Rovers!

Pretty poor day at the office. However, it could have been a lot worse. We dominated for huge spells of that match but we just couldn't finish and that is, perhaps, the most concerning thing.
I was impressed by Adam Strachan today. He's pacy, spirited and caused the Annan defence massive problems. If we can go to Almondvale on Tuesday night, play in the same way, defend well & put on our shooting boots there's no reason we cannot take three points!

It has puzzled me for some time how Ian got his nickname. I've now figured out that "Prof" is actually short for "profligate", which Chambers Dictionary defines as "rashly extravagant".
We were decent at getting the ball forward in spells today, but just can't score at the moment. If we don't improve big time on Tuesday, I fear a humping may be on the cards. If we do manage three points at Almondvale I will personally stand face to face with Ian and say, "You were right, I was wrong, I am a tosser", possibly adding "...and I don't give a monkey's". |

The Miller's 24-Seater will leave The St. Andrews Bar at 6.30pm on Tuesday calling at Owen's Bar approx 5 mins later

I thought that both teams produced a decent game of footie today considering the AWFUL weather conditions!!!
There's 2 sides to our game at the moment:-
On the positive side - we have(one of) the best defensive records in British football, however the concern is that we just cannot put the ball in the back of the net!!!
HOWEVER - I'M SURE WE'LL STUFF LIVI ON TUESDAY NIGHT!!!

After today's game, what is the general first opinion on our on-loan players Adam Strachan and David Gormley?
Personally I was impressed by Strachan- he showed some signs of a good player, but I understand he can be a bit of a hell-raiser, wasn't that why PM got rid of Barr?
As for Gormley, for me he played a like McFarlane but with less brains, but there were some good moments. My friend who's a colleague of his at Ayr United promised me he'll impress, so I'll wait and see. Conditions today made it hard to judge both players' true ability and potential, so I'll reserve judgement and be patient, but fingers crossed we've got two useful additions until January. |

I'd love to get a look at Tommy's recording as I was sure at the time Patch dived: it's not something he's been guilty of in my experience but last-minute desperation - who knows? Paul was certainly in a better position than most so I'll go with his opinion: by Monday morning I'll be convinced we were robbed.
