Just got back from the BRCA juniors at Bedworth. Despite the weather, our 2 drivers Bryan Loynes and Dom Shore did a great job. Bryan TQ'd stock but had motor dramas in both finals and Dom Shore qualified 4th in U17's and finished second. Well done both. Lets see if we can get a few more there next year. |

RC Racer Notice Board / Notices / SLCC 8th July |

As some may know, the Tour De France comes through kent on the 8th of July as well as the SLCC at Barham. How they can arrange 2 such high profile events on the same day is beyond me. Anyway, the lesser of the 2 finishes in Canterbury and from what I can see (loads of maps and route lists on the interweb) it should not effect the major routes to Barham. The A2 will no doubt be busy but is not used for the race so access should be uneffected. My advice would be to camp over if you can then you won't have to worry at all!!!!

OK, official news.
I was waiting for a firm decision but I will tell what I know.
The future of BRCT is in the air at the momment. Please continue to support the club until things have sorted themselves out, either way. We still aim to host what rounds we have commited to host such as SLCC. We will be racing next weekend but if you wish to confirm whether we are racing or not before you turn up, please call me 07891 558667.
As soon as I know more I will let you all know. Please do not phone Gary to question him, myself or Terry will be more than happy to answer your questions.
For now, please show us your support, use the track whenever you can and hopefully things will sort themselves out. Nothing is certain at this point, and please dont tell anyone that BRCT is closed. It is not. |
