Its unlikely to be a metric thread. Even UNF might be "too modern". What is nominal diameter?

MRA1 Wheel cylinder bleed screw

I have just replaced a rear wheel cylinder on my MRA1.
The problem I have is the original bleed screw will not tighten in fully, therefore allowing fluid to leak.
Is there a chance this cylinder uses a tapered bleed screw.  The banjo bolts and blanking bolts tighten fine.

Any help would be appreciated
