Hi Rory. Just noted your post on this Message Board.

Bearing in mind the era in which these vehicles were produced, I would reckon that the use of metric components would have been very unlikely. However, Morris Commercial was a business run for profit, so if the MCC buyers found a foreign king-pin supplier who priced his products sufficiently keenly, who knows? Nonetheless, I also bear in mind the William Morris guiding principal - support British industry!

Is it possible MCC used metric size king pins ? My CS8 king pins measure as being 23mm or they could be 9.005" .
