Mike,
Is your garden 100 meters? If so, how many plants did you plant or do you recommend planting and how many of each variety?
Thanks,
Jill

Mike,
I am so excited to come across your wonderful website. You are truly an inspiration. I too love the romantic cottage garden style. I live on an acre in zone 7 with a creek and have been in search of wonderful ideas for my yard, which is a work in progress. After viewing your beautiful garden I can see I need many more plants to fill my yard! Thank you for sharing your incredible garden and advice for us beginning garden lovers! I am excited to learn from you and others on this forum!

Hi Mike,

I have enjoyed viewing your gardens many times over the past several years.  I am a member at the GW - Cottage Garden so that is how I have come here.  This is a wonderful website and I just wanted to thank you, personally, for sharing your beautiful pictures with us as well as your knowledge.  You are a very talented person.  Your new forum is also great!  I hope you have many happy members here soon.

Welcome to this board, Joseph!
I hope that lots of people are willing to exchange seeds with you.

Bytheway, - how big is your garden? Do you live in a rural area or in a town?

Kind regards,
Mike

Hello, I am a new member too. What zone is Newfoundland in, just out of curiosity?

Joseph

Hi Joseph,
Newfoundland has different zones. They range from 4b over 5a to 5b. In the coastal areas 5b, - more to the northwest 4b.

You might try to establish a seed exchange here, or provide information on where all the European seed exchanges are by a series of links? Just a thought. Thanks!

Hello Everyone,

I am a brand new member of this forum, and I thought I would say hi. I live in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, and have two small gardens. I am a collector and grower of Salvia species, and also collect and grow Japanese Morning Glory seeds. I also enjoy growing Brugmansias, Asarina vines, Thunbergia vines, and try to limit myself to these groups. I like trading seeds, and also sell seeds on eBay (GWGerris2 is my nick there). Let me know if you would like to trade seeds and let me know what you have to offer, either here or by private message (I am so new here that I don't even know if PMs are available here).

Have a nice day.

Joseph

Hi Shirley,

Here is a link to a site, where you can determine, in which zone your garden is.
The address is:
http://www.usna.usda.gov/Hardzone/ushzmap.html?

Good luck,
Mike
