74 Moto Ski Eccentric disassembly--how?

Anyone  with access to a 71-74 moto ski shop manual that would tell me the recommended procedure to remove the eccentric chain adjuster from the shaft?    Has the one piece interference fit bearing vice taper roller bearings.
I’m inclined to think that the fixed half sits flush with a shoulder on the shaft and has to be pulled towards the helix side, while the eccentric has to be pulled towards the gear side??????  Hopefully this isn’t the case cause I don’t see any way to get a puller/splitter between the fixed half and the eccentric.  Would be great if I could put the shaft one direction to remove both-------
So if you happen to have a manual around and can look it up it’d jump start my TS-400 project.
