39 degrees, rainy, foggy……seems like a good day to get some project ideas.    So, what tools have you fabricated at home?  Here’s a pic of two pullers and a secondary spring attachment fixture.  The pullers required welder and a lathe, but the spring gauge just cardboard to make a template, a vice to  hold the sheet metal plate, and a hammer to crease the bends.  The screw (10/24) keeps it from sliding under tension.    Use that with a walleye master scale to dial in spring preload.  Works on 70-00 sleds.
