Found this tank w/ part # 414-0624. It's black and looks like the 71-72 15" tanks but I can't seem to find the part# in any books? Can anyone tell me? Thanks

Joe Oly I agree. That # is what I see in the book also. I just checked the # on my 71 340 Blizzard and it has the 414-0624 tank in it also. Anyone else any idea?

This was the first gen tanks for '71. I asked a pal who just looked it up and the app was 71 ski-doo Oly and TNT. Superceded to the 0770 which was white. Some of the white tanks even have part numbers with a line molded through it. The black tanks were more brittle due to compound issues and the white ones were more flexible. You'll find that in the plastic line fittings too. Orig was black, then white, then alum.

Thanks Hermit. Apparently not too much info out there on this tank. This is the only place to go that I know of for Ski Doo info. I bought the tank at a show yesterday and someone told me it was just a OLY tank and I was pretty sure it was the same tank that was in my 71 15" Bliz.  Just trying to learn!!!!

Brothers 73 oly 300 Serial # 00001 had a black tank in it that said prototype right on the side of it. In tearing the sled apart for the restoration can't find the darn thing

There was a part # too.
