Welcome to the Official "Speaking of Strange" Discussion Board!

This board is devoted to the serious discussion of topics that have been featured on the "Speaking of Strange" radio show.

There are only 12 simple rules that everyone on this board MUST follow. Unless otherwise noted below, you will be warned on your first offense, and immediately banned following any other violation of our rules. Those rules are as follows...

"leet speak" (133t 5p3@k) It's just plain annoying!

frequent changing of usernames

Porn, SPAM or links to such (you will be banned on first offense)

Information on illegal activity or links to such (you will be banned on first offense)

Posting of messages or links to material that is offensive to another person's race, gender or religious beliefs.

Cross posting. This is where you create a post on one board and then post the same thing in other boards or topics.

Using excessive CAPS or smilies. It eats bandwidth and/or is very annoying

Creating large signatures. The banners can be no more than 468x80 and may not contain sound.

Demand support from the support team. They are only volunteers and will get to your post as soon as possible. Please be patient.

Cursing or being rude

Slandering or flaming a person.

And lastly...

If you do not have something helpful to contribute to a discussion, do not reply to it at all; move on to another topic. What one person may see as silly or without merit may be personally meaningful to someone else. Example: If someone truly believes he/she was abducted by aliens and feels the need to post his/her experience here, do not DEMAND proof as a requirement for the matter to be discussed. Even arguments that may have merit are not acceptable if they will serve no purpose but to offend, humiliate, and stifle the sharing of knowledge. There are some subjects that people have faith in, or base beliefs on solely due to personal, subjective experiences, and find them worthy of discussion with or without proof. After all, we do not yet have proof for those things yet to be discovered; that's the essence of paranormal phenomena. The input from this board may lead us to investigations that can finally attain proof, though.

We hope that you all enjoy this discussion board and post often. After registering, be sure to fill out your profile page to make the most of the services this board offers.

Thank you for listening to "Speaking of Strange" with Joshua P. Warren!
