Is there enough sun in the UK for solar water heating to work?

i hope so .. otherwise we're in trouble.
as i understand it "YES" absolutely, there is enough solar energy available in UK to cover 30% - 70% of domestic needs.

Hi James!

Do apologise in the dreadfully late reply!!!!

We would be interested in seeing your equipment and dicussing with you a way your work can be integrated into  our solar workshops. The next two solar workshops are  in mid-September here in Sheffield.

Look forward  to hear from you.

Kind regards

Hi,

My name is James and I am part of the Sheffield Astronomical Society. We have just got a grant and bought a solar telescope. We would love to bring our astronomy gear down and show the Sun to everybody.

Please email me info@sheffieldastro.org.uk

A question to answer for all  Solar Water Heating Workshop participants!

Do you need any follow-up information about the workshop you attended at Heeley City Farm or Green City Action, Sheffield?

A question for all Local Authorities and Borough Councils that conducted Solar Car Challenges in 2003 and 2004!

What do the schools do with the solar model cars they used in the Challenge? Do the schools or the pupils keep the solar model cars they designed and built?
