Hello All:
I was told today and confirmed that 2005 West H.S. graduate Paula K. French died on Sunday, June 24th in St. Louis, Missouri.
I know that several of you knew her, but many of you did not....I was forwarding this to everyone in the hopes that you could spread the word further into the class of 1985 for me since I have such limited contacts there.
I spoke with her father and confirmed that there will be NO public viewing or service in Corning. There will be a private service for the family only. The cause of death is also being withheld at this time. I do know that she was fighting Crohn's disease for several years and one of the reasons she was in St. Louis was for the treatments she could receive.
There is a "death notice" in the Leader.
She will be greatly missed on my end and again - if you can think of anyone in her class who would like to be informed, please forward the news. My thanks to all of you.

I have now moved back to Australia. We are very close to the Great Barrier Reef in Northern Queensland. If anyone wants to come and visit this is the time to do so! Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Everyone,
I finally figured out how to get onto this thing! I am such an idiot when it comes to computers ... thank goodness for Lorrie! I can assure everyone that we would not have a class website as nice as this one if it weren't for Lorrie ... in fact, I doubt we'd have one at all! Anyway, I wanted to once again thank my fellow committee members, Lorrie and Andy, for a job well done. And I want to say it was great seeing everyone at the various events that we had over the weekend. I'm so pleased that everything went as well as it did, and that people had a great time. We are definitely on board to get a 25 year Reunion put together ... and there will be more information on that coming shortly.
I'll look forward to reading future posts on this message board ... I think it's a great way to stay connected!

Hi Lorrie and Melissa,
I have to honestly say I had a great time and enjoyed seeing some of my former classmates.
I had reserve as to if I should go (that's why I didn't do the banquet thing) ....considering I wasn't one of the most popular or even in ANY "in" crowd in high school, but after last weekend I am VERY glad I went (I kick myself for not going to the banquet).
Seeing everyone sure did bring back memories (and we all need memories....especially of our youth as we get older....ughhhh ....  )
Hopefully the next reunion will bring the majority of the class. (A class picture is a really cool idea)
Only the best come out of Corning NY and only the GREATEST come out of WEST HIGH SCHOOL!

Hi everyone.
The reunion was great! Thanks again to those who organised it!
Hopefully we will have another one in 5 years time, so I can have another excuse to come to the States to visit! It was great to see how much some of the alumni have changed since High School.
